; REJOICINGS IN ST. PETERSBURG ! CROWD SINGING THE MARSEILLAISE. DETAILS OF TEE TRAGEDY. ■» ■ • [NJZ. Peess Associahok".—Copteight.]
_It is not yet possible to judge the extent of the influence of the assassination of the Grand Duke Sergius upon the revolutionary movement. In St. Petersburg crowds of revolutionists celebrated the occasion by e_ul_ngly singing "The Marseillaise outside the residence cf the dead Grand Duke. Full details are given of the bomb explosion, though the statement of a secend story, in which the sledge does not appear, and in which the assassin was an unaided student, renders the account a little unreliable. The conspiracy was of Nihilist origin, and the Grand Duchess had been warned not to accompany the Grand Duke out of doors. AFTER THE ASSASSINATION. SCENES IN ST. PETERSBURG.
