The Police Court is one of the places where no credit is given. Mr Wardell. S.M., remarked this morning that he was trying to impress this upon people, and before fining a defendant he ascertained whether lie had the money. Sir Joseph Ward iias authorised the establishment of telephone exchanges in Waiahi and in Cambridge. The work will he put fc» hand without delay.
