Tae weatner was fine "and _jt_wit_3ta-Tdit_g the Wg counter attractioa in the band contest the attendance was good, and brist, the sum of £21T2 being passed through the machines, under Messrs W. BkKni_eid and Co., in 10/ tickets. The racing was interesting, the handcapper (Mr F. W. wards) succeeding in bringing the fields well together in the majority oi the races. Mr R. B. Lust officiated as j_d_e, Mr H. B. Massey as timekeeper, and Mr O'Connor as starter, the latter gentleman pecfonni_g in. Ms usual manner. The meeting was well conducted by the Secretary (Mr F. D. Yonge) and the officials, everything passing o_ft' without a hitch- T-he foikxwing are the details of the racing:— The Maiden Trot was the first event to engage attention, a field of eleven going to the post. Green Lave_dei-. Chief Ju_st:cc, Tamii fri, and Awhiowhio being the witndrawals. Albertorious was made a warm favourite, and he easily justified the confidence placed in him, winning with the greatest oi ease by three lengths from V. S-, who was a big outsider, and who might have troubled the winner had he run kindly, but be swerved all over the course, trotting very green- Miss Dnnnioce finished third "Time, 4.9. Dividends, 16/ and £6.

The nine acceptors carded came out for the Syhria Park Trot, and of these General Ejection found nxotjt support. The whole of the aeeeotors came out for the Electric Trot Handicap, and Bert was sorted oat as the most Likely to score. Rebel Boy, Baxter. Cornwall, and Sir Robert were scratched for the concluding event of G*e day for which Lady Love was favoarfte. Heiress was responsible for the running, closely attended by Juliette, and at the turn for home it looked as if the pair would fight out the finish, but Lady Love came very fast In tbe last couple of furlongs, and caught Juliette aheot twenty yards from the post, but co_d not quite reach __________ who w_n by a hare length, Lady Lore beating Jafiette a neck for second _o_c_re.
