The prospects for the season at the Parapaoraumu game faraa are very encouraging. There are at present a couple of , hundred pheasants on the farm, and arrangements are now being made for liberating , them in suitable localities. Some two dozen mallard ducks have been bred, and a satisfactory thinning out of stoats and weasels has taken place.
