MEETING OP RECHABITES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. The annual session of the district council of the Independent Order of Reehabltes commenced i»is morning there being 54 representatives present. Bro. J. Whitaker (New Plymouth district), Chief Ruler, presided. The report showed the district comprised 30 male and four female tents, the membership being 1651, an increase of 100. Since last meeting one new tent had been opened at Petone. The report of the district visitors on the various tents was adopted. Committees were appofnted to revise the .-female and juvenile laws, also to form a basis of union between the Central and New Zealand districts. Other routine business wns dealt with, and the council adjourned till Thursday morning.
