TANGI AT ROTORUA.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) ROTORUA, this day: A big tangi is proceeding at Ohincmuttt ' over the body of the great Arawa chief, Petera Pukuatua, which has been brought from Otaki for burial here. Tte body was escorted from the railway by chiefs, and received at, the Tillage with songs by Maori maidens decked Nrita green boughs. Songs and speeches by notable men occupied all the .morning. There is a large gathering of European visitors. A big store of food has been provided, and the tangi is likely to last some days.
