(Received 10.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Mr. Watson, referring to the mail diffiuclty. says he does not think that the Commonwealth is justified in paying anything like the Orient Company is asking. When it is a question of paying a hundred thousand pounds above the cost of sending the mails under the poundage system, then the game is not worth the candle.
