HUNTLY. HUNTLT, February 8. On Monday evening the residents of Huntly, at the invitation of Mr and Mrs L. B. Harris, sen., of Harrisville, met in the Volunteer Hall to meet Mr and Mrs Dingle on their return from a lengthy honeymoon trip through the United State* and Canada. The happy pair' received a most hearty and cordial welcome. The hall wus crowded to eicess, and with aonir and dance a most enjoyable evening was spent. I he* music was of a hiirh-efass order, such as is seldom equalled iti Huntly. The violin solo ot hlr Gerald Ralph was most delightful, and more than merited the enthusiastic pneore with which the conclusion was Breeted: while the sinsim? of the Misses JMJph, of i-.ackland, was also a great treat. The 100.-il sin/vets surpassed themselves, the audience according a very henrtv welcome to an old favourite.
