LATE TELEGRAMS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) POLTCEMAX CHARGED WITH PERJURY. DUNEDIN, this day. Thomas J. Koss, a police constable, was brought before the Police Court this morning, dbarged with perjury in connection with, a charge of disorderly behaviour heard on Monday last against Robert James Allan, who i= now prosecutor. On the application of Mr Solomon, solicitor for the defence, the ease was remanded, and will be tried before Mr Widdowson v S.M., on Tuesday. WEIAINGTON FURNITURE-MAKERS' DISPUTE. ij WELLINGTON, this day. The Conciliation Board met to-day to deal with the furniture-makers' dispute. The representative of the employers asked that the case might be removed to the Arbitration Court, and this being refused, the employers withdrew after three witnesses had been examined. The Court adjourned till to-morrow to consider the position raised by the employers' action.
