THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS.
■ The Australian Eleven will return from Rotorua by to-morrow's express, arriving at 5 p.m. The proposed Mayoral reception on Friday morning has been abandoned, owing to the limited amount of time at the disposal of the team, the match against the Auckland fifteen commencing in the Domain Cricket Ground at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, The Auckland team will meet for practice to-night, and the captain will then be elected.
