FIRE AT MARTON.
SEVERAL, SHOPS DESTROYED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MAETOX, this day. A fire at Hunte-rviTle early this morning destroyed the Victoria Buffet, the old Bank of New Zealand, Mr Middlemas' Office, and Mr Geo. Morris' but-cher-shop and residence. The tire started in the Buffet, and an outbreak occurred in the same building yesterday. The insurances on the Buffet a.re £500 in the New Zealand and £ 15!) in the State Office on The furniture; Morris' shop, £150 in the New Zealand, £ 150 in the Imperial on the furniture; stable and shed at the rear of the Buffet. £-150 in the New Zealand Company.
