By the end of March the Lands and Survey Department expects to have the Greenfield Estate (Otago), acquired by the Government for closer settlement purposes, on the market. The Minister for Lands made a special journey to Baiciutha recently with the object of seeing trow matters were progressing in connection with the subdivision of the e-state. and the result of bis investigations was satisfactory. The estate, comprises 21.800 acres, will be out up into allotments of 500 acres.
