The accounts showed that a sum of £3317 5/S had been transferred from revenue to capital as a result of tbe year's working. The Chairman, in his report, stated that 100 acres of the Penrose property had been acquired by the Government for a rifle range, and that li'HJ acres adjoining had been leased to the Auckland Farmers* Freezing Company. During the year 14 building leases at Remuera had been granted, and with a view to further developing this portion of the Board's property, the opening' of MacMurroy-road had been decided on. An additional number of choice building sites in this favourite suburb will therefore be shortly available for lease by the public. The trustees are now accumulating the reserve funds as directed by "will," and expect at no distant date to call for designs for the institute buildings.

On the motion of the Rev. W. Beatty, seconded by Sir G. Maurice O'Rorke, Mr Robert Hall was unanimously re-elected chairman of the Board, and Messrs W. W. Bruce aud P. R. Fraser were appointed auditors for 1905.
