COLONIAL WOOL SALES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL. this day. At the second wool sale 5113 bales were offered. Competition was dull, and over a third were passe.' in. Local buyers assisted the sale considerably. Prices declined as follows:—Superior half-bred by a halfpenny, tine crossbred by three farthings, medium crossbred by Id. coarse inferior by l|d to 2}d. Several clips of superior crossbred hogget and ewes realised 103 d and half bred slightly less than at the former Buyers anticipate a further decline at the London March sale
