CONDENSED CORRESPONDENCE.
"A Parent" draws attention to the alarm caused to young children who are taken to bioscopie entertainments by the firing. He thinks parents should arrange to have nervous children left at home, because they run serious risks of injury mentally and physically through nervous shock. "Charity" says the downfall of Russia in the war against Japan is due to the soldiers' lack of confidence in their officers. He thinks Cornwall Park would be of more service to humanity if cut up as sites for workmen's cottages than kept in a big reserve.
