Parliament to bo Dissolvca,
London, June 9th. — Her Majesty the Queen baa given her sanction for the dissolution of Parliament. The date of the new elections has not yet been fixed. Five of the Belfast Rioters Killed. The disturbances between the Reman Catholic and Protestant parties in Belfast proved to be of a very serious nature. The police who attended to quell the disturbance were attacked with stonep, and were obliged to fire upon the mob, killing: five of their number and wounding many others.
Honours to Colonists.
The City Livery Company of Skinners admit Sir Saul Samuo), the Saltera Company Sir Arthur Blyihe, and the Fishmongers Company Sir Charles Tupper, to their respective Liveries. The freedom of the city of London has been offered to prominent colonistp, including Sir Saul Samuel, Sir Alexander Stuart, and Sir Arthur Blythe.

A Bank Manager Acquitted.
Aiklaidk, Jnne 10.—The trial of Mr Lyall, late manager of the Commercial Bank of South Australia at Yankalilla, for the alleged robbery of a large sum in notes from the bank in March last, wascoueluued to-day, when, after hearing the evidence, the prisoner was acquitted. The New Hebrides, London, June 9.—The Admiralty rely on the vigilance of H.M.s Undine and Raven, which are at present in the neighbourhood of the Islands, to look after Englieh interests there. ■ Tho AgentsGeneral belieye that the presont action of France is simply the prelude to annexation. It is believed at the Foreign Office that the French vessels which recently proceeded to the New Hebrides were despatched there solely for the purpose of obtaining reparation for the outrages by the natives on the French subjects. Confidence is felt that France will not act in an underhand manner. Mr Graham Berry, Agent-General for Victoria, had an interview with Earl Koseberry, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs. No details have yet transpired.

Commercial Bank of South Australia.
Mr Pleydell will collect the Enjjlieh assets ard will settle the list of creditors in the Commercial I'ank, but beyond this will do nothing unless directed by the judge.
