Penme'R on Thursday last, dairy cattle were fairly represented and at lower values- S .ore cattle in moderate numbers, vith a steady demand at late values. Fat cattle in full supply : 140 head penned ; for best qnali^y, trices advarc-d on last week's sale 2a6dthe 100 lbs. during the auction, but again leli towards the end of the sale. ?at cilvcs scarce aud at extrtme prices. Store sheep fairly supplied, with a dull rale. Fat sheep in full numbers, but with a steady demand at latt week's vines. Pigs were in less than usu«l numbers with a fair inquiry Prices given were —Parry cows, _7 to £9; fizhteen months old heifers. £2 15s to £3 5s ; steers, £3155t0 £4256 d ; store cows, £3 10s to £5 10s ; grown store steers, £4 15s to £7; fatcattle, 35s to 37s 6d the 100 lbs.; fat. sheep, 4d the lb.: ewes in lamb, 16s to 23s «5d each ; wether hogs. 12s each Missus HtJMjrK * Nolan's Weekly Export.Cattle: There was a large muster at Newmarket on Tuesday, and for pood dairy cows there was an improved demand. There was an unusual number of stores penned, for which there was spirited competition. Prices were firm, and, in many instances, had an upward tendency, which was more apparent in the demand for pens of well-bred heifers and steers. There was a good deal of differeLre in.condition and appearance of the fat beasts submitted, and prices were also veiry irregular —some maintaining last week's rates. while others were lower, prices rangintr from 25s to 35s the 100fts. At H. S. Meyers and Cote sale oi produce ex Freetrader, tnere was a largfi attendance of th* trade.
