MBiyßotmNß.—Telegrams of the 30th report markets very dull; breadstuffs unchanged. Maize is firm at 4s lOd to 4a lid. Sydney —The S.M. Herald, of July 30, reports :- "The sale of new teas by Mr ThrelkHld attracted a full attendance of the trade, and resulted in the quitance tf over 3200 packges equal to some,lsoo chesti. The samples comprised nothing but good coDgous and a few chops of orange pekoe. The finest lino was withdrawn Mediums realised 67s to 70s per halfchests ; fine, Is lid to 2s 4jd, 2a Id to 2s l£d ; and for 8 O pekoe viivate sales of the latter were made at 2s 2d to 2a 3d. Patras currants sold at4%d; oatmeal, 2jd ; damaged candles, 8d to B£d."
Mr X Arthur had a good sale of poultry and produce to-day. Fowls were sold at Is 9d to 2s 6d ; Spanish ditto, 4s to 5s 3d ; Brahmas, 3s ; tuikeys, 2s to 6s 3d ■ ducks. 23 to 2i lOd; pea fowls, 8s , pumpkins 6* per cwt; potatoes, 4s 6d to 6s ; onions, Id to lid ' Canterbury oats. 3s 3d to 3s 9d ; good butter, •jld to Is 2d ; bacon, B^d to 9|d- . •:' =-:• t At toe weekly sale of poultry, produce, etc held m the market, at eleven o'clock to-day lhere was a good attendance, and over 200 head of pu'try fowls (small) Is to is 6d ; large do, 2s to 3s 3d, There was a great for turkeys. Berkshire sucking pigs, 10s to 12s 61 each • onions. Id to 2d; pumpkins, £9 per ton; rhubaib roots. 2a to 2s 6d per dozen.
