DUNEDIN. (From our own Correspondent.) ' This day. Abolition. At a meeting of the Lawrence Town Council last night a resolution adopting the principle of the Abolition Bill was unanimously agreed to, and a hppe expressed that the measure be carried through this session. The Gasworks. Mr. Curtis condemns as useless, and suggests building new works at a cost of £34,000.
