Destruction of the Princess Theatre-

The Princess Theatre was burnt to the ground at half-past 1 this morning. Mr. Steele is a heavy loser: all his wardrobe is destroyed. The blaze was terrific, and a strong S.W. wind was blowing. The City Council offices next to the theatre had a narrow escape, but a brick wall intervening saved it. The insurance (£600) is in the [TransAtlantic.
Mr. Sibbald, the owner of the theatre, estimates his loss at £3000.
A Notorious Criminal
Hutchinson, alias " German Charley," the notorious criminal, has been committed for trial.
