AMUSEMENTS.
kakhr's hibernicon.
Many of our readers who remember Baker's Hibernicon Troupe, one of the best aud most pleasing of entertainments that have been presented to citizens, will be glad to learn that the exhibitors are in this city, and will give a few evenings previous to their departure by the s.s. Hero for Australia.
MAMMOTH VARII.TY TROUPE,
We notice that the much admired Mammoth Variety Troupe will again appear, but only for three nights, before our friends of. Auckland. Mr Airec, popularly known as " King of the Air," whose wonderful performances attracted so much attention on his previous visit to this city, Madame Diana Airec will perform their wonderful gymnastic feats, which have created so much interest wherever they have made their fearless and graceful representations. Professor Jacobs, the ventriloquist of the age, who will also be recognised as an old friend, will also present a new programme entitled "Tommy aud Joey," whose dialogues are about the smartest and wittiest of the time. The interest of the entertainment will be augmented by the representations and solids of Mißs Maggie Kuigtit. the local Lydia Thompson, and by Mr Harry Kenny and otheis, forming together a troupe of performers and minstrels which eminently deserve the title of the Mammoth Variety Troupe.
