The Crew Missing.

NEW PLYMOUTH. Per Press Telegram Agency.) This day,

The cutter Hero has been picked up off Waitara, abandoned by the crew. The hu 1 had sustained no damage, but the mast had been snapped off and was in the water with the mainsail by the tide. The sail had two reefs in it. It is supposed that the crew had been picked up by some vessel. The ships pr.pers show that she was on the 20th in latitude 39deg 38min. South. [The Hero was in charge of Captain Dobel), and was bound fiom Kaipara to Taranaki. Ed.]
