Union Beach.-—Reported Accident. The Union Beach have started timbering the winze, and my possibly have another haul this week. It is rumuured that an accident has occurred to a man in the mine, but there is nothing serious. The Royal Oak. Ihe Eoyal Oak got 58 ozs. of retorted gold from 20 tons stuff. This is satisfactory, i The Pukeatua crushing at the Nil batteiy gives a good show on the plat as. ' The Three Brothers crushing ia proceeding at the Whakaooa battery. The Tokatea retorted yield is 24 : 20z5. from 35 tons stone from the specimen leader. The Harbour View tributers are getting gold from No. 2 level.
