PARLIAMENTARY.
THE GATHERING FORCES
(FROM OUR SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT)
WELLIJSGTOISr.
This day. The members have mustered- with remark-* able puccfcuality. The Auckland phalanx have made their appearance by the Luna, which called off Taianaki for Superintendent Carrington, but he was asleep and would not turn out, so lie was left behind.
The Otago members came up together in the Hawea, and the. High Priest will, no doubt, take the opportunity of preparing his plans.
Political rumours are singularly meagre. The ministerial supporters go wandering about with a smile of confidence, but on what ground they base their assurance is not very clear. We shall see in a day or two.
