[Per Press Telegram Agency.] This day. Stormy Passage of EM. Dido H. M. Dido has arrived, having left Auckland on the 3rd inst. She intended to call at lauranga, but was prevented by heavy weather. She encountered a succession of lunous gales the whole way. Shortly after midnight of the 12th, the fore-staysail was blown to ribbons. Shipped heavy seas to windward, and took in large bodies of water to leeward. At one time over 150 tons of water were on deck. The same morning a sea struck her port tow, tearing away the hammock-nettings, lockers, etc., also a large portion of the sheet anchor (a solid block of wood, two feet square), and strewing th. deck with bolts, etc., and breaking several large plates of glass "in the main skylight. Ihe ship was in great danger.
