Mr. Alexander for plaintiff. «This was a claim for the rent and occupation of a house in which defendant admitted the claim, but was unable to settle at once; he would pay by weekly instalments. His Honor suggested an arrangement between the parties, and gave judgment for plaintiff. AUCKLAND IMPROVEMENT COMMISSIONERS V. WILLIAM GILL, ARCH. TtTDEHGPB, AND JOHN HARKER. Claim £100 trover. Mr. Lusk for plaintiff. Mr. Devore for defendants. The particulars of this cause appeared a fortnight ago in our police report in reference to the removal of a portion of the drill shed without the sanction of the commissioners. The defendants did not deny the facts, but pleaded simple justification. * After some discussion on the matter in dispute, the case.was adjourned until to-mor-row.
