WEEKLY MARKET REPORTS. Mr Alfkbd Buckliand's Kepobt. —At the Haymarket, on Friday last, hay was in full supply, and rather lower in price ; it brought frem 3s to 4s 9d per cwt ; maize, 3s 6d to 4s per bnshel'; chaff, 3s to 6s 6d the cwt. 3Vo heavy draught horse stock were offered ; medium draught weie m less than usual numbers, but in fair ecquiry. and of late iate» : they brought from £16 10s to £28 each Small sized horses dull of sale, they brought from 23s to £9 At Kemuera on. Thursday, prices realised were: - Best cows at calving, £10 to £H £s ; inferior, £7 to £9; two-year-old steers, £5 10s ; three-jear-old steers. £6 10s to £8 5s ; fat cattle, 30s to 40s, averaging 35sthel001rs ; fat nheep, 4d per lb ; long-woolled ewes, 30s to 42s 6d each ; half-b<ed wtthers, 10s each ; half-bred ewes, 16s to 16s 9S. Averages obtained for cattle were:— Williams, 30 head, £11 5s ; Goodfellow, 41 head, £9 ; Freer, 16 head, >:7 10s ; Bosan, 23 head, £8 ; Storey, 27 head, £8 ; Seccombe, 26 head, £10 6s.
At Mr R. Arthur's poulty and produce sale to-day : Fowls sold at 1/1 to 2/9 ; turkeys, 2/11 to 4/ ; geese, 8/1 ; and ducks, 2/i.O. Potatoes realised 4/ to 5/, and onions, Id to 2d. Mr George Sibbin, of the Corner Mart, sold a number of kegs of butter (inferior) at 6d, good bacon, 9d ; cheese, ll^d ; tea at 2/3 ; oats, 3/10 ; maize, 5/2 ; bran, 1/3 ; oatmeal, 1/4 ; flour, 12/ ; oranges, 6/, and onions ljd ; also a large number of various trees and plants at 9d per dozen.
