•' Stdnkt—The Herald of June 16reports:—There was a better fepling _ commercial circles to-day-less alarm than has been noticeable for days past, and more disposition to. do business- Breadstuffs- were dull, and prices nominal, particularly for wheat, owing to late complications. A large parcel held by one of the banks has been quitted privately'on terms withheld. Bulk ale is rather easier, owing to the delivery of parcels bough'- to arrive. Brandies firm, "Hennessy's case still finds bnyers at 33s for trade quantities. - here was enquiry for teas this morning. The greater portion of the balance ex Annie Mabel was quitted by Mr Salamon- boxes by auction at 12s for low,, to 21s 9d for fine ; halves, at 40s to 72s 6d ;• chests at & - 5s to £7 12s 6d, and privately at a slight improvement. Countess slates at £16, and a quantity of oilstores at current rates.
