AMUSEMENTS.
PBINCE OF WALBS THEATRE,
The musical comedietta, entitled the " Dream of a Life," was repeated last evening at the Prince of Wales Theatre, by the gifted sisters Duvalli. The "Shah of Persia," in illustration of Eastern life waselso given, and together, these varied pieces made up a good evening's entertainment. The dancing of the sisters drew- forth the plaudits of the company. This evening a new programme will be produced, including the original burlesque, written especially for the sisters Duvalli, entitled the "Demon Lover," a piece possessing much merife^ MRS. SEXTIE-BENEFIT.
The promised variety Jconcert by Mr. P. Doran and his friends in aid of Mrs. Sextie and her family of five children will take place to-morrow evening, in the Lome-street Hall. The programme of the erttertainment appears in another column, and consists of two parts. We notice that as excellent provision has been made by the caterers on this occasion, including the " Jolly Irishman " by E. O'Ha-e, the beautiful song "I Sit and' Dream of Thee" by Mr. C. Harding, and a comic' song by Mr. Davey. A variety of dances will intervene, and tha "bending feats, by the. brothers Mattesoh. Mr. C. Smith will'give a comic recitation, Mr. Londergan, a cornet solo, and Mr. Doran will •ome .forth with a few of his rich nigger peculiarities. The whole will conclude with a_ laughable farce, entitled "Who died First," by four gentlemen amateurs, said to Deone ef the best things of the kind that has as yet been introduced by the Doran -ompany. ■
