PORT CHALMERS.
(From our own Correspondent.) This day. Auckland Vessels. Arrived on Saturday : Cutter Dolly Varden, from Auckland and Napier. She went into the latter port weather-bound. She left on the 11th, and had very light baffling winds to port. Agnes, from Auckland. She encountered heavy weather, and ran back to Mahurangi for shelter, and again on the 16th inst. had to make for Kawakawa in a heavy S.E. gale. Left on the Bth, and when South of Cape Palliser encountered a heavy N.W. gale, and hove-to 48 hours Light weather afterwards. Melaine, from Kaipara.
