CHRISTCHURCH.
(Per Press Telegram Agency.) Wednesday. - The Wreck of the Schooner Success.—The Bodies.
Additional pieces of wreck have been found at Longbeach, on the Ninety-mile Beach, some of which bear the words" " Success, of Auckland," thus setting at rest all doubts as to what vessel they belong to. An inquest on the three bodies found with the wreckage was held at Ashburton yesterday, when a verdict of " Accidentally drowned " was returned. The bodies were those of a white man and two Kanakas. The white man was dressed in oilskin overalls, the right arm tattooed blue and red, with a womau holding a flag and " Young America," pricked in below ; there was also a tall thrpe-masted schooner on the breast. ODe of the coloured men had tattooed on the left arm, " Kapulhmlmho Siomenth Okupilu," on the right, " Lealo Omalu Selplio." The other man had a flag on. the inside of the left thigh.
This day, The Education Bill.
While in committee last evening the Provincial Secretary said that the Government intended to stick to the Education Bill as originally adopted by the House and forwarded to the Superintendent.
