SUPREME COURT.—YESTERDAY. (Continued.)
SITTING IN BANKRUPTCY.
(Before His Honor Mr Justice Gillies.) JSe George Thobne, June.
Mr McCormick's address in opposition to the discharge of the petitioner occupied all day. The counts were published in last night's Star. Mr McCormick said that although he contended that a fraud under the statute had been committed, it was not necessary for him for the purposes of the bankruptcy to attribute to Mr Thome any moral fraud. He thought that the Court should mark its sense of the conduct of a person who had persistently and wilfully defied the law.
