The schooner Blanche left Auckland on
the 19th April, and arrived in Rarotonga on the 10th May. After being two days out, ' put back to the Barrier, and remained there for five days. Left Rarotonga on the 30th ■ ultimo. Had very unsettled weather to the 9th June, when the wind set in from S.S:E., and increased to a gale, veering gradually to N.E. and N. This lasted for four days, during which the vessel ran before it. The wind then hauled to the west and moderated. The Poor Knights were made yesterday. Arrived at noon to-day, after a run of. 15 days. The cutter Kate Young arrived at Rarotonga on the 27th May, after a passage of — days. The schooner Papua is cruising about the Hervey Group. There is no immediate prospect of her coming back to Auckland. The cutter Wangarei cleared out to-day for Wangarei with a cargo of stores. The barque Shooting Star entered out today for Guam. The fine brigantine Coronet anchored off the ?*o;th Head, at eight o'clock this mowiing, after a three . months' tiip to the Islands, during which she h»s experienced a very rough time of it. We are indebted to Mr Gilflllan for the following report of the round:—Left Auckland on the Ist March, and dropped down to Rangitoto, from whence we started on Friday, the 6th. Throughout the voyage to Tahiti encountered heavy gales from the east, and afterwards from the north, followed by light airs and calms till making the Metea, when we feU in vith the S.B. trades, which proved light • Anchored at Papeete on the 21st April; left on the 3rd May, and aririvedat Eaatea on the 4th; left there on the 9th and arrived at Rarotonga on the 13th Sailed again on the 22nd May for Auckland. During the home voyage experienced ''similar bad weather to that met with on the down trip, until Friday last, When it blew a heavy gale from the N.E., with tremendous sea, which lasted 48 hoars, during which the vessel was hove-to. Made the Poor Knights on Sunday morning at daylight, and arrived as ab^ve. Cargo as per Imports. Passengers : Messrs Vay, Worth, and GilfiUan. The barque I speculador left for Kaipara yesterday . morning in ballast. . ■ The s s St Kilda arrived at Onehunga yesterday from Wanganui with a cargo of cattle and sheep, and five passengers. .. . ■ . ■ The sew brigantine Roderick Dhu left Sydney for this port on the 2nd instant with one steerage passenger and the following cargo :—1875 bags sugar. 16 bagscoffes, 31 bags rice, 25 cases castor oil, 39 cases vestas, 396 ba^s maize, 240 empty bags. 64 bales hemp, 693 bags bonedust, 16 cases acid, 10 hhds tar, 11 cases veftas. 9 packages. ■.>'•.; -'„ Thefollowing arrivals from this port at Newcastle are heardjof by the Sydney .files to hand .'—Glimpse, barque, May 27 ; Wave, brig, May 31. The s s lona arrived from the North at six o clock yesterday doming, having been detained, as was expected, at Wangaroa in consequence of the gale. The A 8. P. Co' s s ao-ahead had to put back into Poverty Biy yesterday after being two days at sea. She started again at four o'clock yesterday afternoon.
