ARRIVAL OF THE MACGREGOR.
Th 9 RM. s.s. Macgisgor, E. Grainger, Esq., commander, arrived in harbour at 2 o'clock this morning from Sydney. The following is a report of her passage across .-—Left Sydney, stk June, at 1.10 pm. ; cleared the Heads at 2 30, strong south-east wind and head sea, shipping a great deal of w*ter fore-and-aft. Cth, strong gale and heavy head sea ; 6 p.m, e;sed the engines. 7th, weather no finer. Bth, strong breeze from north-aa3t by east; set reefed main and mlzen trysails. Strong gale and high head ssa. 11th, heavy gale, rain and lightning, tremendous sea running ; ecgice? going " dead slow." 2 am, shipped a heavy sea which washed sheep-pecs and hon-eoops overboard ; 7 am. weather more moderate, wind into north-we3t; 11 am., went ahead full soeed 12th, moderate breeze and heavy easteily swells; 10.20 p.m, passed the Three Kings. 13th, moderate breeze, ftn; weather, and strong eosterly sea. 14th, arrived at 1.59 a.m. We are indebted to M- RB.
