DEATH BY DROWNING.

There has been considerable sensation and anxiety in town to-day owing to the report brought to the police that two persons —a woman and her child —were drowned in Freeman's Bay. It is said that the mother rushed into the soa to save her child, and both found a watory grave. Boats have gone round to search for the bodies. Since writing the above the,boats have returned, and report that it is only two sheep drowned, the bodies of which have been found.
