DOMAIN BOARD.—THIS DAY.

A special meeting of the Domain Board was held this day in the City Council Chambers for the purpose of considering th« leasing of the Domain grounds. Prtsent: Messrs : Philips (chahman), Heale, Mitford, Kissling, and Hughes.

Mr Brown (the secretary) lead a letter from Mr Cook asking for a lease of two yean for the use of the Domain. . ;

After some discussion on the matter Mr W. H. Kissling moved, Mr Hughes seconded, and it was carried, ", That; Mr Cook be allowed to occupy the Domain for eighteen monthi, provided that should the Domain be required by the Board Mr Cook's occupancy be*de- J termined on his receiving three months' notice, and that the Board shall be at liberty to use the land in Mr Cook's occupation for the purpose of making any improvements that may be considered necessary." ;'?
