DOMAIN BOARD.

A meeting of the members of the Domain Board was held to-day at noon in the offices of the City Council. Present: Messrs Fenton, Heale and Kissling, and Messrs Stewart and Warren, of the Ponsonby Hoad Board, P. A. Philips, Esq. (Mayor), in the chair.

On the motion of Mr W. H. Kissling it was resolved that a deputation wait upon his Honor the Superintendent with the view of obtaining a sum of money from the General Assembly for the above purpose. It was also resolved to lease a piece of land attached to the bowling green, Graf ton road, for a term of thirty-three years. On the motion of Mr Fenton it was reBolved "That Mr Philips be requested to introduce a Bill at the next sitting of the Provincial Council for the purpose of obtaining a piece of land, known as the old watercourse, which intersects the property of the Domain water works." ■ The consideration of re-leasing the Domain pastures was allowed to stand over until the next meeting: This was all the business.
