The polling for the return tfi a member to represent the above district in the Provincial Council took place yesterday. HELENSVILLE. At Helensville the Maori electors voted for Lloyd, and the numbers at the close* of the poll were— Lloyd ... 30 Stoney ... 8 EIVEKHEAD. Little interest was manifested on the occa» sion. At the close the return stood— Stoney 8 Lloyd .... 2 The other returns to come in are Kaukapakapa, Weiti, Puhoi, and Waiwera.
