PRESBYTERIAN GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
As will be seen from another column the annual meeting of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand will this year be held in Auckland, and the sittings will commence on the sth of December. The meetings of this, the supreme court of the Presbyterian Church, are always attended with great interest, especially to the members of that communion ; and we have no doubt that this meeting —which by annual rotation has come round to Auckland — will not be less so than its predecessors. The first meeting, which is principally of a devotional character, will be held in St. Andrew's Church, thereafter the sittings will be held in the Provincial Council Chambers wliich have been courteously placed at the
service of the Assembly by his Honor the Superintendent Mr Williamson, through the Rev. Mr Bruce. It is anticipated that there will be a very large attendance of ministers and elders from every part of the colony.
