POLICE COURT.—This Day.
(Before P. A. Philips, Esq., R.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Peter Peterson and Jane Kelly were dealt with in the usual manner for this offen#e. STEALING DUCKS. Two boys named William and Edward Lorigan were charged by Constable Clarke with stealing on the 20th instant tfro ducks, value 6s, the property of Mr John Currie, of Dedwood. ' The lads pleaded guilty, and were discharged with a caution. ■ \t\ VAGRAXT COW. Frederick Hammond was charged by Constable Mulville with a breach of the 1 city by-laws in depasturing his' cow on unenclosed land in Barrack hill. Defendant was lined 5s and costs. LUNACY. Mary Mulvaney, from Wangarei, was on the testimony of Drs Lee and M. E. B. Nicholson ordered to be sent to the Lunatic i Asylum as a person of unsound mind.
