The inter-colonial rifle match was won by New South Wales, beating Arictoria by 65 points and New Zealand by 103 points. The highest scores from New Zealand were Small, of. Auckland, and Christie, of Otago. Small and Christie made 85 each. For Victoria, Whalley made 89, and Hanney 88. For Sydney, Freeman scored 91, Lamb 90.
