Sweeps on the Christchurch Plate and Metropolitan Handicap were drawn last night at Tattersall's, with the following result :- Christchurch Plate, value £130, lurline, £G0 ; Papapa, £50 ; Kakapo, £26 ; Tambourini, £5 ; Revoke colt, £3 ; Traitor, £3; Templeton, £3. Castaway was not offered. Gossip, Defamer, and Earl of Lynne received no bid.
