This day.

The Wellington arrived at twelve last night after a (mo passage, but a head wind and heavy swell. Nearly all the team wore sick.

All are well this morning, and had a fine throe hours' practice.

The Nelson fellows think they will get licked.

They say Christchurch will put us through.

We have telegraphed to Wellington to playfto-raorrovv, but Hartmann, the manager of the N.Z.S.N. Co. will not stop the boat till the evening for a match,
