MULTUM IN PARVO GOLD MINING COMPANY.
The half-yearly meeting of shareholders in thii company was held this afternoon, at the British Hotel, Mr Coupland in the chair.
The Directors'fifth half-yearly report TTas rend. It stated that the mino vai in a.very healthy condition, and when the permanent works now in progress vrcro completed .there is no doubt -regular dividends will be paid. The works referred to were the construction of a tramway connecting the mine with Weston's battery, and a tunnel through the company's ground at a much lower lcTel than the present working!. When the tramway is in working order the directors anticipate a saving of about 30 per cent, on the cost of crushins;. The total value of the yield of gold during the past six montks amounted to £1,833 2s. 4d. The expenses in crushing, £188 ss. lOd, ; general expenses, £250 13s. 3d.; wages,. £982 14s. lid. .",.■..•
There are now about 90 tons of stone,in the paddock, together with about 70lb. specimens. '• he balance sheet showed a fealance to the credit of the company .of £239 11s. 6d.
