The mail steamer Nebraska left the harbor last night for Honolulu with the English mail. She takes tlie following passengers:—From Auckland—Mrs. Corcoran Mrs. McGill, Messrs. E. A. Honsman, John Donnelly, F. A. Maynard, S. Eggers, James Best, D.Richardson, S. G. Tangye, T. U. Harrison, A. Cohen N. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Richardson and two children. From Dunedin—Mr. and Mrs Carling, Messrs. R. P. Caird, J. A. H. Caird, P. McAnnany, Tlios. Williams, W. Harrington. From Nelson—Mr. E. B. King, and twenty-three from Sydney and Melbourne. This is the last trip of Mr. Craig to Honolulu as purser of the Nebraska. On his next return to Aucklane he will take up his father's business as timber merchant. The whale ship James Arnold, Captain Briggs, proceeded from Russell to the whaling ground on the 25th instant. The schoooner Onward left Russell yesterday for , ♦.hia port with 89 tons coal. The Julia Price has cleared at the Customs this afternoon for Levuka, with a general cargo ; Mr. and Mrs. Muir and family, and Mr. C. Reay, passengers. The barque Queensland, Captain J. Allen, arrived in harbor from Newcastle this morning, with 475 tons tons coal and ten tons coke, consigned to Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane. The schooner Dauntless arrived from Tauranga this morning with a cargo gum and wool; also eleven passengers. The s.s. Phoebe took her departure this afternoon for Southern Ports, with the following passengers :— Mrs. Joynt and two children, and Miss Butress.
