ADELAIDE.
January 13. A first dividend has been declared of 10s in the £ in the estate of Philip Levi and Co.
Sales of wheat have taken place at ss. Country flour sold at £11 ss. January 16. Ten cases of sunstroke were reported yesterday. Two of them have proved fatal.
A telegram from the outer camp of the Overland Telegraph party reports that Mr Milner, who is on his way overland with sheep, was attacked by blacks at Attack Creek, and that his brother was killed. This is the place where Stuart was attacked by natives.
There is good inquiry for wheat at ss, at which price sales have been effected.
Mr J Darwent has obtained a firstclass certificate in the Insolvent Court, subject to five months' delay, to allow extra-colonial creditors to prove their debts.
January 17. There have been heavy thunderstorms in the far North. Aberdeen township is under water. At G-um's station men have been flooded out of a hut.
Wheat is firm at ss, and there is good inquiry.
