The three members at the Thames, who have qualified themselves at present for the district representatives, are Hoskins, 45 points ; Payne, 43 points; Partington, 43 points ; Snodgrass, 40 points ; but Fenton has yet to fire. The monthly parade of the Auckland Eifie Brigade will be held on Friday evening next, at 7 o'clock. As this is the monthly inspection, all members ought to be present. On the 2nd prox., the annual inspection will be held, and the time fixed is such, thatj there can be no excuse for members not attending. All absentees without leave, will be liable to a fine of £5,
The Auckland Artillery Corps met at Fort Britomart last evening for drill. Two gun detachments were put through various field exercises by Lieutenant Isaacs. A grand al fresco moonlight dance and concert will take phce on Saturday evening in the Albert Barracks, in aid of the funds of the Artillery band. The preliminary firing for the International Rifle Match takes place at Mount Eden rifle range on Saturday next.
