January 20. The stabloa of the White Horse Hotel, Tokomairoro, were burned down yesterday. The loss is £GOO, being only insured for £200. The Opera Company opened last night with " II Trovatoro," to a capital house. January 19. The flour market is brisk. Trade lots are in demand at £13. Millers' brands are low. There is no bran or pollard. Wheat is scarce, and good sorts are worth 5s to 5s 3d. Oata are dull at 2s to 2s 2d. Malting barley is saleable at 3s 9d.
