at 1.30 p.m. For Taranaki and Southern Provinces of New Zealand, per s.s. Taranaki, on Wednesday 17th instant, at 11 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Nelson station will be received here till
11.30 p.m.; and at Onehunga, at 0.30 p.m. Mails for the undermentioned places, per s.s. Hero, will close at this office on Wednesday, 17th inst., as under:
For India, China, Mauritius Mediterranean Ports, and Continent of Europe, at noon. For Australian Colonies, at 1 p.m.
For United Kingdom, via Suez and Southampton (for letters specially addddressed), at 1 p.m. For United Kingdom, via Brindisi, at 1.30 p.m. For money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 11 a.m. Late letters for Sydney, Melbourne, and United Kingdom via Southampton, bearing 3d. and 6d. in addition to the postage, will be received till 1. 30 p.m. For Mongonui, per Ivanhoe, on Wednesday, 17th, at 3 p.m. S. B. Biss, Postmaster.
