at 8.30 a-m. For Great Barrier, per Glance, this day, at 4 p.m. For Wanganui, per St. Kilda, to-morrow, at 8.30 a.m. For Kawau, Wanganui Heads, etc., per Duke of Edinburgh, to-morrow, at 5 p.m. For Kapanga, etc., per Royal Alfred, to-morrow,

at 1.30 p.m. For Taranaki and Southern Provinces of New Zealand, per s.s. Taranaki, on Wednesday 17th instant, at 11 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Nelson station will be received here till

11.30 p.m.; and at Onehunga, at 0.30 p.m. Mails for the undermentioned places, per s.s. Hero, will close at this office on Wednesday, 17th inst., as under:
