OE THE PEIHCE OF WALES THEATRE.

SYDNEY

January G. At half-past three this morning the Prince of Wales Theatre was discovered to Lo on fire. In a very short time the flames burst through the roof, showing that the building must have been on fire for some hours before. The damage done is considerable, and up to time of our going to press the fire was raging furiously. At about ten minutes to fire the southern walls fell out on Brougham Place destroying for houses. Two firemen are supposed to have been fatally injured. LATER. Twelve houses have been destroyed. One man has been killed and eight severely injured.
